I am a lecturer and researcher at IADT based in Dublin, Ireland. I am also currently the academic lead representing IADT at The Creative Futures Academy.

I lecture on the Masters and Postgraduate Diplomas in User Experience Design, BSc [Hons] in Creative Computing, BSc [Hons] in Applied Psychology
I teach and supervise students in UI/UX, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Modern CSS, Web Typography, Design Systems, Data Visualisation, Accessibility etc.
I have been involved with many practice-based research projects through IADT. My current interests are in the design and development of simple, beautiful technology that empowers users.
Most recently, I completed an Erasmus+ project that enables migrants to upskill, integrate and set up their own business in Europe. The final output was the design, development and integration of a bespoke Virtual Learning Environment.
I am currently working on an Erasmus+ project that facilitates the integration of students in new European Countries through the design and development of a Progressive Web Application.
The Creative Futures Academy is a partnership between 3 leading creative institutions: The National College of Art and Design, University College Dublin and the Institute of Art Design + Technology.

I have completed a number (15+) of UI/UX projects primarily under the Enterprise Ireland Innovation Vouchers scheme.
In 2016 I worked with The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland to evaluate, test and prototype the redesign of a system used by General Practitioners in Ireland.
The project's outcome was published in 2016 IEEE 29th International Symposium on Computer-Based Medical Systems (CBMS) and can be accessed Here.
I have worked with knowledge providers to author course content for delivery through online learning providers.
I have vast experience working with various knowledge providers writing and editing content and assessment strategies for online delivery in the field of design.
